Learn how to make jams, jellies and ketchup from hand-picked and foraged ingredients taken from the hedgerows at Ravine. You will be using fresh produce, bursting with flavour that can't get any more local, having been foraged only yards away from the workshop.
Plus, by attending the workshop you’re supporting a social enterprise unleashing the potential of young people facing mental health challenges.
The workshop, taken by our Farm Manager Kenzie, will teach you the wonders of preserves and the amazing ingredients that you can find in hedgerows all over Northern Ireland. You will learn about your ingredients, how to prepare them, a variety of preserving techniques and how to store your finished product. You'll then take home a selection of the preserves made on the day.
